A rumour has been widespread that Apple will release its new iPhone 14 Pro models in September and the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro display will have a completely new design. In order to accommodate the Face ID sensors and the front-facing camera, the iPhones will feature new screens that feature a pill-shaped cutout and a hole on the front for the Face ID sensors. The iPhone 14 front glass panel appears to align with all the rumours of the iPhone 14 so far and previous leaks we have heard about the iPhone 14. However, there is no way of knowing for certain if this is a legitimate leak. MacRumors was the first organization to share an image of the front glass panels, which promised to appear on all iPhone 13 models in the coming year, and that image has so far proven to be accurate.
There have been several reports concerning Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro features a hole-and-pill design. Several sources have reported this, including Ross Young and Mark Gurman of the Display Industry, as well as Bank of America. There is also speculation that the iPhone 14 Pro will be equipped with a 48-megapixel camera on the back, a front camera with autofocus, and many other features as well. The camera of the iPhone 14
There has been more talk about the iPhone 14 cameras lately, and the rumours are getting interesting. Reports indicate that Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes the iPhone 14 Pro could have a 48-megapixel main sensor, an improvement from the iPhone 13’s 12-megapixel camera. TrendForce, a Taiwanese research firm, says Apple still considers megapixels when it comes to its high-end phones when it comes to the camera. The iPhone Pro is rumoured to feature a 48-megapixel camera.
Still, a regular Apple tipster believes the standard iPhone 14 will only come with 12MP cameras, whereas the Pro model is expected to come with 48MP.
Regardless of how accurate it turns out to be, it would be nice if the main sensor was bigger. We are interested in an iPhone with an improved telephoto lens, as it lags behind rival smartphones like Samsung’s Galaxy S21. Apple should take a page from the Galaxy S21 Ultra and add at least ten times optical zoom to its secondary telephoto camera.
The new iPhone 14, or at least the iPhone Pro models, may come with periscope-style zoom cameras (opens in a new tab). Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the periscope camera will appear in the iPhone 15 in 2023.
As Kuo has recently updated his statement, it is intended that all models of the iPhone 14 will come with an upgraded front-facing camera that will adjust the aperture wider (f1.9 compared to f/2.2 on the current iPhone) and will have built-in autofocus. Those who choose the former will be able to capture brighter photos and videos, while those who choose the latter will be able to enjoy better quality video calls.
How the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro differ from one another
It is clear from all the rumours that have surfaced so far that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max may be a class by themselves. For the first time in a long time, it is now the responsibility of the Pro to provide telephoto zooms to their clients. Additionally, there is a definite possibility that the iPhone 14 Pros will come with an in-display Touch ID, which would result in the notch being replaced by a punch-hole display in place of the notch.
The iPhone 14 Pro models are expected to come equipped with a much more powerful camera that boasts 48 megapixels, so it will be much better than the 12 megapixels one found in the iPhone 14. On the back of the iPhone 14 Pro, there is a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port which is found on all iPhones except for the Pro.
It was recently reported that the iPhone 14 Pro is likely to run on the A16 Bionic silicon, while the iPhone 14 will probably run on the A15 Bionic chip that has been around for nearly a year. Our comparison of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro reveals more details on the rumoured differences between the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro.
As for the iPhone 14, Jeff Pu, an analyst at Macquarie Research, believes that Apple will offer all four models with 120Hz displays this time around, as well as 6GB of RAM.
