With PassFab’s iPhone Unlocker, you can regain access to your iPhone even if it’s completely locked out.

iPhone and iPad users know how to unlock their devices. Normally, you must enter a passcode or use Touch ID or Face ID.

It is, however, a quite thorough security system, and sometimes you will not be able to unlock your iPhone.

You may be able to unlock your phone and set up a new code using Touch ID or Face ID if you recently changed it. The code has to be entered after booting or if it has not been entered for a while. Forgetting the code could be a problem.

Even more so if you have disabled Touch ID and Face ID.

The more likely scenario is that someone will forget the passcode or enter it too many times. When they failed repeatedly, the iPhone passcode could be locked, forcing you to bypass it.

You might not be able to enter your passcode if the screen is broken.

With PassFab iPhone Unlocker, you’ll have the ability to bypass the iPhone passcode and help others access their locked devices. PassFab iPhone Unlocker is better if you need to bypass iPhone passcodes regularly or have a forgetful family member.

How Does PassFab iPhone Unlocker Work?

With PassFab iPhone Unlocker, you can bypass iPhone passcodes in a fairly simple and straightforward manner. The on-screen process is easy to follow so you don’t need to follow complicated instructions.

It’s also a fairly quick process, with the longest period of time waiting for the necessary downloads and the process of unlocking itself. Instead of watching progress bars tick away, you can step away for a few minutes as each phase completes.

The program works on Macs and Windows computers. It does not require an Apple ID or iTunes to run.

How to bypass iPhone passcode with PassFab

Run the application after downloading and installing PassFab iPhone Unlocker. Connect your iPhone to the Mac or PC using a Lightning to USB cable, then tap Next.

The iPhone firmware needs to be downloaded and saved. Choose a location with sufficient storage capacity, then click Download.

After downloading, click on the Start Removal button. Wait for the unlocking process to complete with your iPhone connected and with enough battery power.

Go through the setup process after the iPhone is unlocked by clicking Done in the application.

Reset iPhone passcode using iTunes or MacOS Finder

Another method is to use iTunes in Windows or the Finder in macOS to bypass the iPhone passcode. You can manage your iPhone from your computer and sync files and backups.

Depending on the state of the device, there are a few subsections to using iTunes or Finder to do this. Regardless of your choice, you will lose all the data on the iPhone, though you can always restore it from a backup if one is available.

Trusted Macs

You must have previously connected your iPhone to iTunes or accessed it in the Finder, and your Mac or PC must trust you.

You can open iTunes or access the iPhone in Finder after connecting your iPhone to the computer. You can restore your iPhone by clicking “Restore iPhone” on top right.

Once the process has completed, you will be asked to restore again.

Recovery mode

You may need to go for a more extreme method of using recovery mode if you have never connected your iPhone to your computer.

To turn off your iPhone X, iPhone 8, second-generation iPhone SE, or later, hold the side button and the volume button, then drag the power slider. Hold the side button on the iPhone until it says it is in recovery mode, then connect it to your computer.

You can turn off the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus by pressing and holding the side button. The iPhone will be in recovery mode after you hold down the volume down button.

To turn off older models, hold the side or top buttons and slide the power slider. When you return to recovery mode, connect the iPhone and press and hold the Home button.

Choose to Restore if you receive a notification advising “There is a problem with the iPhone.”

DFU mode

In this case, you will need to use Device Firmware Update (DFU).

Open Finder or iTunes on an iPhone X or later and connect the phone to the computer. You can power down by pressing the volume up and down buttons, then holding the side button until the power slider appears.

The side button should be held for three seconds, followed by the volume down button held for ten seconds before you only press the volume down button.

With the iPhone 7 and earlier, you need a computer connected to iTunes or the Finder. Once you have turned off the iPhone with the power slider and the side button, hold the side button for three seconds. Press the home and side buttons for 10 seconds.

It will prompt you to restore the iPhone if it detects it in recovery mode.

Passcode bypass with iCloud

There is a third route, using the Find My service, if “Find My” was previously set up and the Apple ID credentials are known. The only way to break the iPhone passcode that doesn’t require physical access is this one.

Log in to iCloud.com in a browser. Select Find iPhone at the bottom-right corner.

Scroll up and select the iPhone. When the pop-up window appears, select Erase iPhone. Before erasure can be processed, you will have to reauthenticate your account details.

This can be accomplished in several ways.

There are a few ways to bypass iPhone passcodes if you find yourself in a position where you are unable to access the device.

Backup your Apple hardware regularly, as AppleInsider always recommends. You should only use certain techniques if you are confident that your data is safe elsewhere.

A one-month license costs $35.95, a one-year license $39.95, and a lifetime license $49.95. Each license allows unlocking up to five iOS devices and one PC. Mac users are charged an additional $10. Different versions are available for different devices.
